Think About This
The idea of creating of my own blog has been running in and out of mind for quite some time now. So here I am, venturing off into the world of cyber writing. The purpose of my blog is to get people thinking, hence the name Think About This. Nothing frustrates me more than snap judgements and pre-programmed thinking. You will come to understand what I mean the more that you visit my blog. I have always been one to consider the source, or for that matter the era, that something was written or conceived. It amazes me how people have become so set in their ways that they just accept various aspects of history, the news, and life in general. Lest we forget, everything and everyone has an agenda. In ancient times it was the agenda of a religion to explain the unknown and mold the thinking and habits of its followers. In more recent times, the media publishes propaganda (for lack of a better word) to infuse their views and opinions on its reading public. As I stated earlier, this blog will explore these types of subject matter in the hope that the reader takes a step back and analyzes the posted information and processes it for his/her self. The objective here is to get the “masses” out of their daily rut and grind and excercise the mundane areas of their brains. We are all guilty of slipping into a lemming like state (exactly the reason that I am passionate about this new outlet). I welcome any and all inputs and opinions. Some of you will agree, some of you will disagree. It’s all good. I want the readers of this blog to open up their minds and the minds of others. Think it through people, you know, outside the box. I would very much welcome fluid discussion and feedback. This is the blog for “Everyman/Everywoman.” So I implore you to begin this journey with me and excercise our gray matter together.
